MoU signing ceremony held between Pakistan and Ukraine for defence cooperation for production, modification and upgradation of tanks at Abu Dhabi

On the third day of International Exhibition IDEX-2017 Rana Tanveer Hussain spent busy day in Abu Dhabi having meetings with delegations of different countries and International companies’ representatives. During the meetings, Rana Tanveer Hussain offered the products and services of Pakistan defence industries and desired to explore areas of joint venture, exports/imports of arms and ammunition in defence production.

 

Federal Minister held meeting with Allison Transmissions and had fruitful discussions. Allison Transmission is an American multinational company manufacturer of world’s leading vehicle manufacturers. Minister also had meeting with South African company DOK-ING Africa which produces multifunctional remotely controlled firefighting robotic vehicle for hazardous environments. Rana Tanveer took keen interest in the stalls of Rockwell Collins Company and Northrop Grumman Corporation. These companies are pioneer in the design, production and support of innovative solutions in aerospace and defense.

 

Federal Minister for Defence Production also had meetings with Minister for Trade and Industries of Czech Republic and Ms. Lynne Brown, Minister of Public Enterprises of South Africa. Rana Tanveer Hussain invited her to visit Pakistan which she accepted. Pakistan and Ukraine had also signed a MoU for defence cooperation. Pakistan and Ukraine will cooperate in production of tanks, their modification and up-gradation of tanks.
